Time Out For Women

This weekend I got to go to Time Out for Women with my mom, Brenda and Joyce on Friday and then with Brenda, Starr, Joyce and Shanan on Saturday. We were able to see the Millards and the Hendricksons for a bit too. It was a good weekend. If I came away with one certain theme or one thing that REALLY hit me it was this... God does not waste time so if we are at a "stand still" or a period of waiting we can be rest assured that He is not wasting our time.  There is something to be taught and something to be learned. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to think about this at this time in our life when we are sort of at a waiting period in so many areas.  It is a beautiful thing to be surrounded by so many woman who are trying the very best they can to do the very best they can.  It is also a priviledge to listen to and be taught by the Holy Ghost. I wish I was better at really listening to what He is trying to teach me and responding more quickly.  Thankfully the Lord is so patient. Oh yes, that leads me to another thing that I really needed to hear and remember this weekend... We can learn a lot about the love the Savior has for us because he loves us and we do not always meet His expectations.. YET!  Love this.  What an inspiring weekend!
